I was born and raised in Waco, Texas and graduated from Reicher Catholic High School. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Texas A&M University, where I was involved in the community at St. Mary’s Catholic Student Center. My career in education led me to a variety of experiences including teaching in public schools, assisting in a bilingual school in Madrid, Spain, and working in Catholic schools. I completed a year of service with the Augustinian Volunteers where I worked with students at a Catholic school in Massachusetts. After my year of service, I began teaching at Holy Family Catholic School where I discovered my love for teaching the whole student: spirit, mind, and body. During my time as a member of the parish, I enjoyed getting to know the parishioners, youth, and children and felt the call to work at the parish. I am passionate about the Catholic Church, and I pray that God uses me as instrument to help the children and families discover Her truth, beauty, and goodness.
