European Refugee Crisis
The current refugee crisis in Europe has been declared the worst since World War II. So far this year, more than 360,000 people have arrived in Europe seeking refuge from terror, oppression, and famine in their home countries of the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Pope Francis is asking parishes in Europe to house refugees. While taking in refugees may not be an option for many of us here in the United States, we can and should open our hearts through prayer and donations.
